T It would then help with plausability rather a lot if you could dream an even semi plausible method for cheating that would have a chance of working at this sort of time limit. Magic glasses with some form of head up display would help with the move notification. How the engine finds out the board...

I would guess if there is a delay in transmission, they are using wireless boards. This doesn't happen with the wired ones. I know from talking to Agon at the Grand prix last year, they were keen to use wireless.

They have a BCQ place because all FIDE rated events held in the British Isles which are Open get an automatic place. it is the British Championships after all.
