Perhaps I can make this a bit more attention grabbing? I'm always more than happy to make corrections, it's mostly what I do ...

Re: World Chess Club
Or you could mention it to me, RDC, all friendly-like, and I could attempt to right the wrong? My email is webmaster@englishchess.org.uk, or andrew@englishchess.org.uk if 'friendly' is your watchword ... English spoken, no reasonable request denied. Always nice to know you're spending time on the si...

Jeez, Geoff, that's hilarious. Indeed, why should we care about the customer/punter/ECF member, eh? It's not as if they pay our wages. No ... wait ...

Re: British Championships Tenders sought
Out of interest, we're still getting one or two calls a week at the office from people who paid for last year's bulletin, but we haven't seen hide nor hair of it yet to send it to them. This may have some bearing on whether a 2012 bulletin is a priority?

Through the foggy ruins of time I seem to remember Rolf Harris singing ...
I can't get me winkle out
Isn't it a sin?
If I can't get me winkle out
I'll leave me winkle in!
Rolf, eh? What's he like

Re: Website Strategy
Adam You could have run all the above past me (some of it you did) but here it is on the forum, and not in my inbox. Ho-hum. I seem to remember the following -- - your list of what we do / don't need in an email - the same suggestions being put out to the Board - an eerie silence ... What I don't wa...

Re: Chief Executive Officer, 2010 - onwards?
I sense a bit of veering off here - << I maintain in difficult times difficult decisions have to be taken (HMG is about to hit us all big time for the same reasons ie the country is bust) Its very obvious that a great many people are going to badly affected by what HMG is going to do very soon. Not ...

Re: Chief Executive Officer, 2010 - onwards?
There are things concerning the office that I keep hearing, but in a nutshell Mr Lazenby covers them - 'minimum staff' - when Cynthia's retirement takes effect, there'll be three of us left. Is this minimum enough? 'costing a fortune already' - can an amount be mooted? I'd like to know what percenta...
