"Paris Olympics 2024 Break Dancing IN but Chess OUT!" Going back to this, at least break dancing requires strenuous physical activity. A point against it is that it presumably depends entirely on judges' opinions of how well you have done it, like ice dancing, gymnastics etc. And judges do get thin...

Nepomniachtchi reached his peak live rating yesterday, 17th on the all time list; third in the world

He has 3 rounds of the Russian championship left to gain 6.6 rating points

EDIT he drops back to finish at 2789 going into the Tata Steel Masters in January

Constitution for chess club

Has anyone recently put together/revised a formal Constitution for their chess club?

Our Zoom AGM tonight has decided we need to do this, so if anyone has a template it would be very handy, thanks

83rd Tata Steel Chess tournament goes ahead but only with a 14 player top group. Anish Giri is for now the only confirmed participant. The event entirety in De Moriaan in Wijk aan Zee 15th to 31st January 2021.
