"Paris Olympics 2024 Break Dancing IN but Chess OUT!" Going back to this, at least break dancing requires strenuous physical activity. A point against it is that it presumably depends entirely on judges' opinions of how well you have done it, like ice dancing, gymnastics etc. And judges do get thin...

Pete Doggers83rd Tata Steel Chess tournament goes ahead but only with a 14 player top group. Anish Giri is for now the only confirmed participant. The event entirety in De Moriaan in Wijk aan Zee 15th to 31st January 2021.
