Re: Fischer Number

So, the trick is to find someone I have beaten who has beaten Jack Rudd. I have a feeling there might be someone out there - Tom Hinks-Edwards? That would give me a Fischer number of 4 and, more importantly, a Rudd number of 2. A Rudd number of 2 is impressive...but...(and dont take this the wrong ...

Re: Fischer Number

well....anyway.....getting the discussion back to the "average" players....mines a 6...which I thought was very impressive (until I read some of the others !) It's probably lower than 6. You've beaten Alan Papier, and it shouldn't take that long to get from Papier to Sherwin given how long they've ...

I will be first to congratulate Sarah if she wins But hopefully the organisers in the future look at many aspects of the current structure, including female participation and qualifying rules to make the championship a more challenging tournament Yeah...I see what you mean...are there only 3 entrie...

Re: British Championships

Re: British Championships

yes...of course it is right. Sarah Hegarty would be a worthy champion....whatever she scores .
And I'd be betting she scores better than 50 %...she played rather well last time out (Leeds)

Re: WHO'S GOING TO TORQUAY?

Lara is their any chance of the lower sections ie u140, u120 having the top boards on the live boards? Especially for the last few rounds anyway/ I see they do it for the juniors some years. Would be great to have it for the top boards of the minor sections and highers ones ie 160s and 180s? Thanks...
