I've got 49 at the moment with a couple more players to play.
IS it not showing the league until after the 1st round or something? How have you found other peoples scores Jack?

World Cup Betting
Come on then guys. Going on my own knowledge the bookies have given me a tanning in the first round of games. I had an idea a few seasons ago (based on a book that impressed me) that peoples combined knowledge might beat the bookies, and it made consistent small returns. I'd like to try it for the s...

Re: World Cup Fantasy Football.
I'm putting the team together in a rush on my lunch break, and can't seem to find out what the scoring method is - so it's gonna be a bit of a blind pick.

London
I'm coming down to London next weekend, and might well be at a loose end on Saturday. Does anybody fancy a couple of games and a pint or two in a pub or cafe? I'm 110 ECF so no great shakes, but as it's over a pint, not too serious either :D. I'll be stopping on the Metropolitan line, but anywhere I...

Re: Chessbase, Fritz Training, Rated Game
Yes that's what it's doing. And it is frustrating. It's not running on a network, but it must be something im doing as it did it on my last computer too. The game is still there in the 'autosave' database. I think I'll gp back to chessmaster

Re: Chessbase, Fritz Training, Rated Game
Actually, I just thought. It does matter, because I want to play alternating colours, and if it keeps forgetting our games I'll keep getting white.

Re: Chessbase, Fritz Training, Rated Game
Here is one of the games. It's a shame that the computer makes it so obvious that it is playing below itself to give me a chance. Moves 11 and 12 in particular just seem to be giving me moves to even it out. Unless of course anyone here can see a reason for 11. ....a6 and 12. ....a5, and if there is...

Chessbase, Fritz Training, Rated Game
Hi. Does anybody know the answer to this query? I have googled but can't find anything. The problem is basically that I play Fritz using the rated game facility. Over time it should keep track of my results vs Fritz at whatever level and give me an estimated rating etc. At the moment I'm playing it ...

Re: A game from last night
There's something wrong with my version of Fritz. It doesn't call it the Dewi Jones Exchange Sac. Fritz uses the completely disrespectful and sarcastic "Unusual lines after Nf3 and Kings Indian Attack"
