I predict So's game will conclude quickly. He will then observe Karjakin and Shak's games. If either wins before Fabi's game concludes he will signal Fabi that he should play for a win.

So suddenly five are in contention and Ding is the only unbeaten player. He has White against Kramnik next, and finally Black against Karjakin. Mamedyarov and Grischuk meet on Monday, both needing to win really. I would expect So to draw with Karjakin and Caruana must somehow find a way to beat Aro...

At the start of today's Giri v. Carlsen battle Giri had moved 1.e4. Meanwhile Carlsen was "adjusting" his pieces. I didn't see what Carlsen touched immediately after 1.e4 but whatever it was shouldn't that have been his move (he was touch his non-pawns so I think he should have to move a knight) Tho...
