25, 29, 30, 33; hard to see any upsets against the 2300+ players, but there are bound to be one or two, so board 5, for double points please.

Five pages and counting... There does seem to be a tendency for some to get wound up in the minutiae of these disputes. At the recent Southampton League AGM, a proposal from Basingstoke Chess Club to abolish the possibility of adjourned games was defeated by 6 votes to 2. That doesn't appear a terribly large selectorate tbh? I suspect it was 6 clubs rather than individuals, so the clubs might well have had an intern...

The irony of the Minor Counties being so strong is that counties, or their unions, seem to prefer to play in it because they feel they have a better chance of winning it.
