Re: NFL Fantasy Football
I have had to trade lots and lots. From my draft considering i was out the night it was scheduled. In some respects I was lucky because I made my depth chart beforehand and I got 3 of my top 8 targets. Unfortunately QB wise I was massive on getting Rodgers and Stafford and these were both taken very...

Re: NFL Fantasy Football
You do not need any O against the Jets. You can just let them beat themselves.
Brady has literally nothing, none of his guys can catch.
Yet still far superior to the Jets.

If you had picked the other one, for the first few weeks youd score as many points.

Re: NFL Fantasy Football
Matt Ryan might be a very good quarterback, indeed I don't think it is impossible that he is the best in the NFL. However, he is just not a big name, because playing in Atlanta you don't get the coverage. If I go into school tomorrow and ask pupils or staff to name an NFL quarterback how many will ...

Surely the strongest chess player who is active in the politican scene is Jonathan Arnott who is the secretary of UKIP.

Re: I am a complete idiot!
my most embarassing moment is I had a quite reasonable position all things considering but did not realise there was a double check allowing mate V Dave Spence, if I had won id have won the Brit U18 title. A certain forumite(Hello Geoff) found it very funny and decided to take a picture of me laughi...

Re: e2e4 Gatwick congress cancelled at the last minute
It is events like this why the 4 Euro or so travel insurance per european trip is worth doing. If you book non refundable like I do with Eurostar around 20-25 times a year. Also the "beef" should be with hotels and not with the tournament. It had a good level of entrants it was something out of the ...

Re: 2013 British Chess Championships (Torquay)
Alex, John Well it is just a little bit weird - I don't like such a rule. I also don't understand it. In the 4NCL if one of my players is sick and does not make it to the board I can put a nominated reserve in place of them. This is a published draw(1.5 hours before) as well as FIDE rated. I sort of...

Re: 2013 British Chess Championships (Torquay)
Really not good here by the arbiting team. I think you should just go against FIDE. They don't respect us anyway with the whole Turkey thing.
Just put the girl against a 180-190 filler which is the same type of game.
Poor show if it is a default.

Re: 2013 British Chess Championships (Torquay)
For what its worth going back to Simon/Roger's point. Ive never played the British as I do not play much outside the 4NCL. But I qualified by winning Yarmouth open with 3.5/4 V 195 avg but I felt this was not good enough performance to warrent myself playing. Id want to score over 2350+ performance ...
