An en passant capture that leads to triple check is ineed not too hard to set up as you suggested.

I’m intrigued to know which move led to this position.

74 chess DVDs (Roman's Lab) for sale

I have 74 DVDs by Roman Dzindzichashvili - from his Roman's Lab series - for sale. These are just the discs themselves - no cases I'm afraid. Numbers 1-65 (which includes 37-40, his 4-volume Encyclopaedia of Essential Chess Openings), plus numbers 71, 82, 85, 87, 91, 92, 95, 96 & 97. If you're inter...

Re: I wanna become a GM

Take heart, Soheil. We live in post-truth times. Now it is sufficient merely to say something is true, and it shall be so. Objectors can be dismissed by repeating the truth, louder if necessary. Arise, Grandmaster Hooshdaran! Only last week I decided that I was now Formula 1 World Champion, 2017 Rea...

On an unrelated matter, can anyone tell me why forum pictures are upside-down in some browsers/devices, but not others?

Re: Chess book collection for sale: 149 volumes for £500

Although I've had some interest in these books, I'm still looking for a buyer. All 149 are still available, and I'm dropping the price to £400. Still only looking to sell the entire collection, and pick-up direct from me is the only delivery option. PM me if you're interested.

'Ah-gone' never occurred to me as a pronunciation, possibly because Argon is a noble gas, whereas Agon is mainly hot air.

Personally I've always thought there was a silent 'y' at the end.

There was going to a be a 150th book, but you wouldn't believe the trouble I had getting one translated into Farsi.

The Yusupov and Aagaard books are now sold. The DVDs are still available - message me if you want to buy these.

Sometime this weekend I'll be selling the rest of my chess book collection (149 books). Watch this space!

Re: DVDs & Quality Chess books for sale: Yusupov/Aagaard (hardback)

Thanks, Carl. For some reason I couldn't find it on my control panel. Not sure why I put that in Adverts rather than For Sale.

Anyway, have removed the other one as there's no sense in duplicating.
