Hi Roger I have heard this argument before. It is not the case when junior player play each other as they do in the many junior only ECF tournaments. The best players increase much quicker. Two weeks to go and the national finals is filling fast. If you qualify by grade or zonal and want to play I would strongly advise entering quickly to avoid disappointment

The fide trainers has finished. It was a wonderful and also challenging weekend. In total 61 coaches attended of which 55 were from ejcoa.

Yes fide will record but only for a short period afterwards as far as i am aware

The fide training seminar due to start on Friday has 57 coaches signed up. I am very much looking forward to listening tonthe excellent panel of lecturers including Yusupov . Aagaard, Sokolov, Kobalia, Bojkov and Luther
