Weekend 5 | Rounds 9-11
2-4 May 2020

Presumably this will have to be changed, now the Bank Holiday has been moved from Monday 4 to Friday 8 May 2020

Just when they thought everything was finalised! I've just dropped the bombshell into Mike's inbox, I guess the May spring bank holiday dates may come into play albeit they are much closer to exam time.

Madness.... they finally addressed that we have too many bank holidays in may (especially so close to easter that has another two) and their "fix" is to just move it to another day IN MAY !!
Lose one queen and it is a disaster, Lose 1000 queens and it is just a statistic.

Why not just move the 75 anniversary of VE Day to another month to accommodate the too many bank holidays in may

75 anniversary of VE is appropriate. in future the government may want to celebrate Brexit Day.

"75 anniversary of VE is appropriate. in future the government may want to celebrate Brexit Day."

The former is agreed. As for the latter, Brexit has to happen first...!

I'm hoping for October, if not by Hastings. If they really mess it up it will be May 2020 and that will be the last 3 matches in the season.

Registrations for the new season are now out.

When should we expect to see the allocations to the Pools and the fixtures?

Captains have been sent the proposed seedings today with a deadline of Sunday to respond. Their intention is to do the pairings early next week.

I suspect that Div 4S pairings may be after next Thursday in case any teams are unable to raise teams but that is purely guesswork on my part.

I have not received the proposed seedings. Can someone please forward them to me?
Thanks!
