I've been told by one of the teams that the Boat Inn has had to close and won't be open tomorrow.
I'd have thought the Boat Inn would be naturally equipped to deal with wet conditions...

It's being renamed the Float Inn #neverletacrisisgotowaste

Actually, I've just seen pictures of it - deeply flooded, several feet under

I think they might be being optimistic about those Manchester to Doncaster services. The big thing is that Sheffield to Doncaster is out, with no estimate for a time to reopen. So it might be back tomorrow, maybe not.
(That's the main Manchester service)

Leeds/York to Doncaster have got some services running but that makes the trip from Manchester a real haul. At least, as per Google maps, the main roads through Doncaster to/from the station are OK.
Yes, the "direct" trains are all cancelled, so the alternative is via Leeds; though that's an issue as some Leeds to Kings Cross trains are fully booked

Looks like the main roads near Doncaster are ok, but lots of issues especially in Derbyshire

I think that’s all the LNER trains - preplanned engineering works. The Leeds train is an hourly, 45 minute service so really is a silly journey and not precisely reliable.

Pick ups from Sheffield station or something perhaps, but getting back on Sunday has to be a real worry. The river isn’t due to drop until quite late today.

Well it all worked well in the end :)

Bradford A to go up if they keep that strength of team, you presume, no idea who'll go with them. Shropshire?

J'Adoube appear to be more of an effort to combine teams for numbers than to field strong ones.

I'd have thought it would be between the 6 teams on 100%, with Bradford A, Shrops 1 & Manticores 2 more likely than 3Cs 2, J'Adoube 1 and SoA B

It will be clearer after weekend 2 at Bolton, though, as one side of the Pennines can make some teams stronger and others weaker

We look forward to seeing the pairings

So do I!! :D

I will look at this at the end of the week and let the teams know.

Like you I would like to wait until after weekend 2 before finalising the pairings but that, because of the complications, might make things extremely difficult.

Shropshire 2 will be unable to field a team in rds3 and 4.

An altered set of fixtures will appear this evening or tomorrow morning. (I'm a bit busy at Hastings.)

At least you have experience of changing a set of published pairings at Hastings this week.

Triangular matches at Hastings - now there's an idea.

Just about to put the new fixtures up now.

Minimum disruption attempted (including future rounds).

After weekend 2, we have:

8 points - Shrops 1, MM2, 3Cs 2
6 points - SoA B, Bradford A, J'adoube 1

Looks like the 2 promoted teams will come from those 6
