Rule 11.5 (part) "bad weather (except where a severe weather warning can be shown to have been issued by the Meteorological Office) etc. will not normally be considered exceptional circumstances." At the moment there are substantial Yellow and a few Amber Weather Warnings in place for large parts of the United Kingdom. If players don't arrive because of this are the default financial penalties of £30 a board going to be applied? A yellow warning is described as "severe".

After the first weekend Barnet B look like the team to stop, with the rest battling relegation to the dreaded Divisin 4

Barnet Knights B and Desert Penguins on 100%

This Division has divided into two distinct halves. Teams 1-6 have 8/12 or above whilst teams 7-12 have 4/12 or below - so the battle lines for promotion/relegation are already clearly defined.

Despite losing in Round 7, Barnet Knights (14/16) look to have an easy run-in for promotion. Desert Penguins (12/16), She Plays to Win Lionesses & Rhyfelwyr Essyllwg (both 11/16) challenge for the remaining spot. At the foot of the table Cambridge University 2's position (1/16) is hopeless whilst The Masceteers (3/16) with both Knights & Penguins to play are also in peril as relegation beckons. There are reasons why Surbiton feel quite unlucky to have finished eleventh and we hope that, as in previous years, that will not in fact result in relegation.

This will depend on any withdrawals in Divisions One & Two entrants for next season.

At least this season the entire fate of the team was in your hands rather then the chaotic lottery of the past when we had pool splitting where good teams were getting relegated and undeserving ones were getting promoted
