As one of the players moved from the darkness on the edge of town, well the dimly lit Warwick Room anyway!
I just wondered, if so many games have had to be reconstructed at any one time, since the 4NCL started?
From what I saw everyone, players and arbiters did a splendid job of keeping their concentration and their humour!

Re: Warwick Room!
That room was a nightmare all morning.
The first problem was that the doors locked behind you. Not a problem if you were inside, of course. The lighting issue was known to us, and I pointed it out when sent to ask for a doorstop. This was between 11am-12pm. I'm not sure they ever got around to it; they said they were too busy checking everyone in. Which was true, there was a long queue forming.
We all assumed that it would just take someone to come over from reception, find a setting on the lights that we hadn't found, and all would be fine. No such luck...
