In addition to Richard's result Brandon Clarke beat Peter Sowray and Ravi Haria and three Barbican Youth players Isaac Sanders, Sam Franklin and George O'Toole all scored 2/2. Also pleasing to see Yang-Fan's performance is 2470+ James Holland 2380+ and Lateefah 2160+ which is 250 points above her own rating as well as Isaac with 2240+ (not including 2/2 against unrateds), Tarun Malhotra 2170+ on board 1 in Division 3 and Ravi Haria 2145. Brandon Clarke is also 2200+ this season. Apologies to any notable performances I've missed, it's nice to be spoilt for choice though.

After 4 games (I missed last weekend) I have a TPR of 2300+ (400 points above my rating) and I am still (just) a junior (1993 birthday)
True glory lies in doing what deserves to be written; in writing what deserves to be read.

Thanks for that info Loz, you have made my day, Brandon is from Leicestershire like me, I wonder is this his highest scalp?

A friend played him in the local league and Brandon won, what infuriated my friend was, as he was getting beaten, when the lad was only around ten or eleven, the cheeky young tyke, poked his tongue out at him, heh.

I think Luke might be our next 2700 English grand master.
Lose one queen and it is a disaster, Lose 1000 queens and it is just a statistic.
