Live games for this Saturday

Cheddleton 1 vs Barbican 1
Guildford 1 vs Oxford 1.

We will decide the Sunday games on Saturday evening when the teams go into the new groups.

Any ideas on which live games will be broadcast this weekend?

Hopefully not Wood Green 1 v Barbican 1 and Wood Green 2 v Barbican 2, given our score of four defeats (three of them by 4.5-3.5) and one draw on the live boards so far this season! (I'm not sure whether we beat e2e4 on the live boards because the power cut interfered with the transmision).

Not sure about that; it means there are only 14 games on the liveboards on Monday, not 16. It means I have to input 2 more games.

Wouldn't mind a bit more gossip about the 4NCL- there hasn't been any on this weekend so far!

The weather is nice (for a bank holiday...) and so the number of visitors to here and viewers for the on-line games is far lower than it would be normally - sorry

I know this sounds a bit 'demanding' but it'd be nice to see a few updates of the match results while play is in progress...

I went looking for today's results as well, but they don't seem to be there yet. If there was a notice saying when results are expected to be provided online, I could understand, but nothing being there seems to indicate that only live coverage of selected boards is the aim, rather than providing a results service (has any survey been done to see whether those following things online would prefer live coverage of the top boards or a speedy results service for the entire event?). How does this compare to other leagues and previous years/rounds for the 4NCL?

One draw so far in the title decider (Wood Green Hilsmark 1 vs. Pride & Prejudice). Anyone able to judge how the other games are going and which side looks like coming out on top? As best I can tell, McDonald and Flear have some advantage, but the other games look fairly level, though the top two boards look quite exciting.
