Re: Well done Yorkshire!
White Rose 1 certainly had a fantastic weekend notching up third place in convincing style!
As has already been pointed out, their win over Guildford 1 was particularly impressive. Despite losing on the top two boards where they were less-outgraded, they managed to pick up 4.5/6 on the bottom boards where they were outgraded by nearly 200 points per board.
Jean-Luc Weller is indeed a junior and is really progressing fast, it will be interesting to see how high he can reach! His younger brother Pierre is also a talented player and will surely see he his brother's performance as an inspiration to also make big leaps!
A full report on Yorkshire's exploits in the 4NCL will be on the http://yorkshirechess.org site shortly!
