Looks like all the results are up now for rounds 9 and 10, though one match still appears to have results not filled in:
http://www.4ncl.livechess.co.uk/div2_20 ... 2d-rd9.htm
I tried refreshing that several times and several different ways, but I can't get the result to appear there for the e2e4 2 vs Barbican Youth match (three boards not displaying - EDIT: all three boards were won by Barbican Youth, the match was won by them 1.5-6.5). That would be annoying if journalists were trying to report on that or, more likely, a chess player trying to find out the result of that match. The full results and division tables are printed out and displayed in the hotel rotunda area (the website explicitly says only the cross-tables after round 11 will appear online - not sure why), but I only saw the division tables after round 10. If there were any printed division tables after round 9, I didn't see them.
About the round 11 title-deciding clash, the following notice appeared on the website and at the venue:
"Monday’s round 11 deciding Championship match Guildford 1 v WGHK 1 will take place in Room 12. Viewing numbers will be limited to allow ‘breathing space’. However, in Room 6, starting at 11.15, there will be a commentary on all 8 boards by IM Malcolm Pein"
Is this the first time commentary has been done at the 4NCL? Should be a good match. Both teams warmed up for this with 7.5-0.5 and 8-0 demolitions by Wood Green Hilsmark 1 and Guildford 1 of Barbican 4NCL 2 and Cheddleton respectively. You would have expected a second team to get demolished like that, but Cheddleton's 2 GMs and 5 IMs couldn't muster a single draw between them, though they too were heavily outrated.
The round 10 teams for the two heavyweights were:
Wood Green Hilsmark 1 [average: 2592]
1. Adams, Michael (2727)
2. Shirov, Alexei (2700)
3. Howell, David WL (2638)
4. Rowson, Jonathan W (2586)
5. Baburin, Alexander (2534)
6. Pert, Nicholas (2547)
7. Cramling, Pia (2525)
8. Emms, John M (2483)
Guildford 1 [average: 2627]
1. Short, Nigel D (2697)
2. Fressinet, Laurent (2693)
3. Jones, Gawain CB (2654)
4. Edouard, Romain (2670)
5. Van Kampen, Robin (2588)
6. Sadler, Matthew D (2647)
7. Hebden, Mark L (2546)
8. Stefanova, Antoaneta (2525)
Not sure if both teams are at full strength yet, but we will find out when the round 11 pairings appear. Guildford "only" need to draw the match, while Wood Green Hilsmark need to win. The other big drama will be in the division 1 demotion pool, where around 5 teams (all on 6 or 5 points) are battling to avoid three relegation places.
