It's an impressive line up in the final/top match that starts in half an hour. The teams average 2651!!

It certainly is. I'll be following it with great interest.

Currently sitting in the live broadcast room at Daventry and following the games from the four matches on display. Some of the games are interesting, but there don't seem to be any internet sites giving live coverage with online assessments. Hammer-Edouard and Jones-Laznicka look interesting.

ICC is giving all the games from WG v Guildford with assessments, though maybe you have to be a member. At present it's +1 for WG on 5, smaller edges for WG on 2 and 4, small edge for Guildford on 3, the rest still close-so WG currently has the advantage.

Later-now improving for Guildford, who are better on 6 and 7, WG better on 5 and 8.

Does anyone know how to grab PGNs from the live broadcasts so I can get assessments on the computer I'm posting from?

Now looking better for WG. Top four games all more or less level, clear advantages for WG on 5 and 8, clear for Guildford on 7, moderate edge for Guildford on 6.

Later-the advantage has changed sides again, with Guildford better on 4,5,6 and 7, Wood Green better on 8, the others level.

Following the games on http://www.2700chess.com/live , they seem to be ahead of the official site, no matter how many times I hit f5, eg Shirov-Sadler up to 17 Bd3 on official site, but 18... Nb8 on the other. No matter, the games look interesting.

Any idea where to find the live games now. The 4NCL website has been up and down for a couple of hours.

Adams just resigned on board one, and Guildford have won the 4NCL Division 1 title.

It's not me this time it's the DGT cloud product providing the coverage.

Shame the live games on the site didn't work too well on the last day. I don't intend to blame anyone - I imagine how much hard unpaid work goes into the live games.

Carl - how do the Bundesliga do it. I enjoy watching that without, so far as I can recall, a problem.

I don't know what occurred with the live coverage sorry.

There does appear to be an alternate backup feed here:

Hammer - Edouard really is a bit spectacular, especially the final position. Happily my last round game ended quite early so I could spend some time watching this. Black's bishops always looked nice and all but this really is a gruesome fate for a 2650 :)
