Well done Mike Truran for putting this on again. I’m in. It’ll be my third trip to the Holiday Inn and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a warm-up for the British - or indeed just eager for a really good chess congress. Playing conditions are first class, the Hotel is the real deal, and its staff, who seem prepared to go the extra mile, are its biggest asset. Come and play chess, you'll love it.

Have the entrants to date been published? The web-page appears blank to me - but maybe I'm missing something.

Numbers are rising for the 4NCL at the Holiday Inn at Birmingham Airport. 52 entries now confirmed, and still two weeks to go. The Hotel is better than good and the playing conditions are fantastic. The Sun’s shinning, temperature breaking 80 degrees, let’s play chess.
