Clarification

I'm aware that I might have missed this in the welter of e-mails received.

Last season accommodation was booked through Bridge Overseas. I see that this season Guaranteed Events are the booking agents.

If anyone could enlarge on this I'd be pleased to hear.

Whoever they are, they no longer deal in names. All players have a code. So RdC will be WES09 or suchlike. Computer say DO!

Given the trouble some hotel staff seem to have with my surname, this comes as a bit of a relief.

?!!? I'd have thought you'd be pretty safe. 4 letters and pretty much phonetic with it :)

I should say that Bridge Oversees/Guaranteed Events did a superb job, and the code system seemed to work very well. The check in time of 3.30 at Wokefield Park less so, but that is very much the hotel rather than the middle organisation.
