"Playing through a database game you quite often find that the result is inconsistent with the final position."

It's all too easy to hit 1-0 instead of 0-1...
I hope it's not that, because in the cases I'm talking about the result carries through to the rating system!

I hardly ever get a scoresheet completely correct, but virtually all the errors are for the same reason. If black plays b6 this might end up as g6, b3 or g3. If black plays his rook to the seventh, it will sometimes go down as Ra7. In the olden days, when I wrote P-N3 or R-R7, the worst that happened was the occasional ambiguous move.

Swiss-Manager has a very helpful checking feature, in that if you try to upload the PGN to Chess-Results.com, it first prints a message about any results that are different between the PGN and the results in the Swiss-Manager file, prompting you to check the result.

Very impressive indeed :)

They even apparently had Div3N up by Sunday morning.

For Round 6, we had Divs 1 & 2 up by 6pm on Sunday evening; and Div 3n was online by 2:30pm this afternoon. Div 3s and 4s are being worked on...
