Preston Chess Congress

Post by Malcolm Peacock » Sun Nov 18, 2012 9:00 pm

The results of Preston Chess congress can be found here:

155 took part. 130 were ECF silver members.
The prices were higher than last year, due to the cost of the venue, but numbers were up.

Congratulations to all. Looked good when I visited on Saturday.

There was a sainsbury's carrier bag containing a grey addidas hoody top with red trim and 2 blank score sheets folded up small left behind near the open/major, if anyone has lost it (the top that is - presumably they didn't want the blank score sheets)

Thanks for pointing that out. 0.4 for a draw might be interesting though ...
