Good to see this event starting to take off with players now attending from as far afield as Oxford, Cambridge and Hastings. The venue is easy to get to by public transport: Canning Town station (Jubilee tube or DLR), frequent 309 buses from Stand C at Canning Town bus station (adjacent to rail station) to stop on Aberfeldy Street right opposite the venue (St.Nicholas Church Centre). Alternatively, it's a 10-12 minutes walk from Canning Town. Refreshments, including hot food, provided at the venue.

Next event: Saturday, 25 July - round 1 starts at 10.30.

Not sure the links in the report are working correctly?

Mike,

Thanks for the warning. The link to the photo gallery should now work.

The pictures are fine. It's the links within the results page http://www.spanglefish.com/docklandsche ... eid=273923 which don't seem to work properly.

Apologies if I'm doing something wrong - I'm not the best at technology!

Brendan,

I'm using Chrome and getting the same result as Mike - the link to the alleged results page works, taking me to a page within the Docklands Chess Club site. But the links within that page have no effect. On the other hand seeing as they appear intended to take one elsewhere within the page I don't see that they would provide further enlightenment anyway. I was expecting to find a more detailed set of scores than a simple statement of prizewinners.

I was using Firefox, so presumably a more generic issue? No big deal though.

I think what look like links on the page are just clumsy edits. There are no more detailed results. To navigate the site, use the links in the yellow rectangles on the left of the page.
