Looking at the results David Zakarian had a mixed weekend; two losses to much lower rated players, the indignity of a bye, then two wins including GM Nunn

And a good result for Matthew Fanning in the U170. Having got a very fortunate win against him at Scarborough six years ago I'm pleased to see him doing well.

By analogy with the last game or two of an already decided six game match, there has never been a proposal that a last round game not be rated or graded if the tournament has already been won.
