Chess Arbiter's Course 14th/15th June, Wellington College

Post by John Upham » Tue Jun 03, 2008 2:36 pm

By popular demand, Wellington College, Crowthorne will be hosting another course for Chess Arbiters 14th/15th June 2008.

We have been able to secure the services of ECF Chief Arbiter, David Welch to run the course. :D

If you are interested in what the Arbiter role encompasses, are a match captain for a team and want to understand your role as captain ( for Surrey Border and Berkshire Leagues, captains may act in the capacity of an arbiter ) , organise tournaments/matches at any level, or just need a refresher on the latest developments in the Laws of Chess, this course will be of interest.

The course cost is £20 and includes an optional exam at the end. :P

If you are interested to join or need further details then please contact Ken Coates, 01252-683554, [email protected]

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come - first served basis. :(
