It's a good site but you just have to try and get used to the German notation!

Should also add that Gawain Jones, David Howell and Stephen Gordon are also playing and all 64 games are live.

Impressed by the line up of the Baden-Baden team Adams is playing for. If they are shown in board order then Kasimdzhanov is turning out on board 6..!!

Have a look at Baden-Baden's team:

With a big sponsor like Grenke Leasing they can spend big money!!!!

I think the team Captain Sven Noppes is alos the tournament organiser of the Deizisau tournament (near Stuttgart) around Easter time

Noticing the top four have yet to appear, do they pay people not to play I wonder? If you sign big names, than it prevents them playing for the opposition. It's a problem that may on occasion have afflicted the 4NCL.

Peter Svidler's website shows he certainly turned out in the Bundesliga last year. Anyone know if Anand, Aronian and Carlsen played in previous years?

Statistics for previous seasons are at

Lev is a new signing for Baden-Baden. Magnus was a non-playing member of last season's squad.

He obviously had trouble getting selected.
