All good stuff, but I'm not entirely convinced about the value of transmitting such mismatches live - save to give a couple of juniors their moment in the sun? Might it not be better to start transmission in later rounds, when the field will have settled down a bit (which would also have the benefit of giving the technical team more time to iron out any potential glitches).

An entertaining struggle between Joseph McPhillips and Jonah Willow has ended.

Worthy of a post-mortem.

Are there any results online? I've followed the live boards but it would be interesting to know if there are any other 3/3s etc

I wish I could bring good news about on-line results but I doubt if they are available.

You can imagine a conversation I might have with Mike about this!

Round 6:

Wadsworth (15) Kalavannan (13) Game drawn so Matthew wins the 2015 UK Chess Challenge).
Foster (12) v McPhillips (12)
Taylor AA (12) v Golding A (12)
Isaksen (10) v Herring (12)

Challengers:

Brewer (15) v Vir (13)
Ashworth (15) v Grieve (13)

I suspect an error in the scores for the Challengers :?

A bit of a lottery without increments.

Any ideas where live games or results or pairings can be found for the 2016 event this weekend?

I believe that David Clayton was not available for the 2016 Terafinal and therefore no live game coverage.

2016 features a great opportunity for Akshaya to break the male monopoly on the Strat title.
