A super-strong lineup, but I predict that Morozevich will not finish last as per seeding. Hard to say who will.

I'll also predict that Mamedyarov won't finish 12th :)

I'll predict that Karjakin won't finish first...

So half way through Karjakin is leading, Morozevich is equal last, and Mamedyarov is ½ point off last.

Any other predictions?

Morozevich out of second gear, not before time. Two textbook Open Sicilians from the white side.

Nakamura-Kramnik was crazy, even allowing for it being blitz. The material imbalances included minor piece v 4 pawns, q&b v r+5, q v r+6etc

Hmm. Karjakin looks to have won with a round to spare. No more predictions from me for a while! :D

Very impressive to score 8.5/10 after his round 2 loss.

He's ranked higher in blitz than rapid or classical, so not a surprise

Any chance you can tell us who won't win the Candidates, so we can nip down the bookies and bet on them to do so?
