Hi,
I'm not sure if this is what you meant by "Comments please!" but Coulsdon appears to have been mispelled. In two different ways. Or am I being too pedantic here?
Other than that, really nice effort!
Alex.

Looks good. I haven't used that feature of Google Maps much, so two questions:John Upham wrote:I have created a map of the various ECF Centres of Excellence :

Comments please!
1) How permanent is that? Is it something that will always be accessible by clicking that link, or will it one day stop working?
2) Can anyone update that map, or is it just you? Can the map and the updating process be handed on to others if needed?
How long does it take to do this sort of thing? Can you do it for other chess things as well?

Re: ECF Centres of Excellence
Two more ECF Centres of Excellence have been added to the list:
Fairlop Primary School Chess Club
and
Knights of Gidea Park Junior Chess Club
to bring the total up to 29.
See http://www.ecfcoaching.org.uk/ for more detail.

Hi John
You mark RGS and Jesmond JCC as if it was simply a school club - sure it is held at a school (RGS Newcastle) but is a chess club open to any Juniors who care to attend. Whilst the majority of the kids are from RGS, in fact last year we had members from ten different schools - one from as far away as Eton! (It is one of the ways RGS retains it's charity status by serving the local community)

The Entry shows
so I'm not suite sure how I have marked them as school chess clubs. I have detailed their location but the name does not include the word "school". How should I describe it and I will edit the listing.RGS & Jesmond Chess Club

I think he means by the colour of the arrow - people will assume that green arrows are just for members of the school.
