Yorkshire Chess Association

Post by Matthew Webb » Sat Jan 07, 2012 7:25 pm

The new Yorkshire Chess Association website has been created by Ihor Lewyk and myself.

Please check it out @ http://yorkshirechess.org/

This site has many great features which distinguishes itself from most other chess club websites:
Interactive Social Media - Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube & Email Subscription news letter
Local Forum - Many local chess topics debated here
Guest Posts - allowing our visitors to write an article which will be published on our website
Webstore - distributing used chess books & software
Game of the Month - the best games are listed giving visitors a chance to vote their favourite
Chess Quiz - a multiple choice quiz for all visitors to have a go

Any suggestions to improve our website are always greatly appreciated.

Matty

Nice website indeed.

Since I have the devil in me this evening, I noticed a link to their committee minutes

These particular minutes date back to December 2011 and the decisions made were largely superseded by the July 2012 AGM.
