Your Post Office has misinformed you. If you are sending items from this country to countries in the EU post Brexit, you will now need to complete a Customs declaration but post is still going to and fro.

You would need a specialist international courier to ship something of this size and that would also involve a Customs declaration but it could be done although the costs, including insurance, would be significant. Probably FedEx would be the place to start, although other couriers are available!
