Post by Charles W. Wood » Thu Feb 21, 2008 12:43 am

All the bidding goes to training homeless kids. Its worth £500 + its the board and set with the FIDE coins under the pieces. What will you give? :) Jewels in the kings cross.

I'd give a lot if i had anything. Really.
come on people, get yourself a flashy new board to show off with. Think of the bragging rights and possible promotion benefits it could lend.

I'm interested in something this fancy, just so I can show off to the girls :D unfortunately I just quit my job and am planning to go to University soon, so cash is not readily available atm, but if it's still available when I get a new job...

It is very nice, the coins on the base of each piece are brilliant, and the board is great too. Its old but doesn't look it.

To be honest, £400, but that depends on the demand, people can see it first and then agree.
