That is an old police tactic though. They used it against Barry George, saying he had an obsession with Jill Dando, and had loads of photos of her. But it seemed he just never threw a magazine away! In this case, the video evidence looks fairly compelling... Did she have a plan in case she got white on that board later?

The Private Eye cartoon did actually have a correct (chess) solution to the chess problem.
