Anyway it's been a while since I kept up with Ray's Brain Trust, which on its Companies House reports has ceased to call itself a charity but is still registered as such with the Charity Commission. So I was surprised to note that in the last reporting year (2024-5) they'd had a sparkling year, receiving and disbursing more than two million nicker, which we can find recorded in the statement of financial accounts.

Anyway it turns out that as per usual everything has been donated to Ray-related organisations



which is not something they are hiding or anything



but I may not be alone if I say this doesn't look very charitable to me.

So much for Charity Commission oversight. It's laughable what these charlatans are able/allowed to get away with.

You have to take your hat off to Raymond and the World Brain Academy, as one of their esteemed members serving on the Executive Committee is currently dead. Perhaps they have made afterlife brain discoveries and are hiding their light under a bushel.

I did actually write to a previous set of accountants, following which the Brain Trust changed accountants and (in their company accounts, as opposed to what they send to the Charity Commission) ceased to describe themselves as a charity. I do not actually know that these things are connected.

The accountancy firm Asmita & Associates seems to be owned by someone called Lekhnath Pandey, who was lucky enough to be awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Global Finance and Sustainable Development just last month!
