"Ignore the doomsayers, this technology has transformed the game for the better and it can do the same for education."

A short summary (as it is behind a paywall) of the main points? How did this 17-year-old use AI to improve his chess? His norms came in 2022 and 2025 and 2026. The widespread use of public AI models came after his first norm. Is he saying training with AI helped him gain around 100 FIDE rating points and transition from IM to GM? His FIDE rating profile picture shows him as a kid.

Another player who seems to play at his best in the ideal climate of the Balkans.

Basically he used "two AI-powered chess engines to dissected every move my upcoming opponent had made in recent games, the AI strategies on offer diverged. One suggested an aggressive shock-and-awe approach. The other recommended a quieter squeeze to try to wear them down over several hours."

Ah: "Go not to the Elves for counsel, for they will say both no and yes" (from The Lord of Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien).

No mention of palantiri please!

Yes I am surprised their resident GMs have any rating points left to give when they so generously distribute them to every norm seeker in those tournaments.
Any opinions expressed will not be held to account.
