I think the main thing is to hope that they don't try too hard to overcompensate for this reverse, else things could yet could worse.

Well, Adams drew, and those telling me to trust Short's position were right (some complicated lines, though). Short looks to be winning a pawn, though the moves seem to have frozen for me. Howell's position still looks horrible. In other news, Armenia appear to have lost to China!

It was clearly Kd5 not Ke5 - Ke5 was obviously the arbiter putting the kings on e5 and d4 to signify a Black win and it overwrote the game move.

Dunno. After round 6, he was second in the running for the board 3 gold medal, might be even better placed now (Voloktin looks like he will only draw).
