I assume Wells lost on time?

Disaster On Time Trouble Street for Sue Lalic, too. [Edit: not so, apparently, I should have looked a bit further.]

I further assume that Lane beat Eden - the result's not showing.

i guess time but postion was gone buy then also. the sack made things unclear so then huge timescramble but howell played some nice tatics in it all the blitz chess he plays on icc surley helping howell there .

Well, I thought time, but since he's clearly lost on the board too, it's possible that he resigned without bothering to stop the clock. He had 31 seconds to make 10 moves which is a stretch in blitz, let alone FIDE time limits.

Well it looks like houska it in a lot of trouble now did she overlook that rook d3 was a out right blunder

Griffiths-Rudd is a strange one which Black has lost several times already and White has handed back a similar number of times.

...and which has curiously been agreed a draw. (I suppose Black might sacrifice his bishop for White's pawn and his rook for White's bishop? Even then White would technically be winning, I think.)

Also impressively, Ynojosa is now on 4/7 in the Championship. He's ahead of two IMs. If he keeps this up, how far is he away from achieving a FM norm?

Oh right! :D

How do you become a FM then? I know you get IM and GM norms.
