on the database i got that from rybka does not belive its good at all but not been played at high level but risky .

From the current position, I can find a game from 1862 which black won, and a game from 2008 which white won.

I decided to investigate. In the latest Chessbase, which is including games up to last month I have 20 games, White wins 14, Black wins 4 and with 2 draws. So granted it does not score brilliantly for Black. But you just don't get statistics like 54/54.

The gallery was shocked that Mike had developed a piece, but the hitherto neglected h pawn had its moment in the sun on move 10.

Meanwhile the top three boards were drawn in the Seniors, ebabling Anthony Ashby to catch up with the leaders on 3 out of 4.

Has Mike Surtees ever played Erik OMC Teichmann or Andrew P Smith?

I would need to take special substances before attempting to analyse them...

wow howell spent ages just 11 moves and 34 mins left huge timetrouble ahead if this game last a long time!!!looks like he was not expecting kings gambit today howell

re8 was not the mistake 0-0-0 was the mistake nxc2 was the correct move and better for black but after 0-0-0 better for white!

howell on the rocks if si williams finds nf6 and he got huge time trouble to deal with i think the shock of the kings gambit from williams looks like it payed off so far .
