Unlike positions 1 - 3, where there's a forced win/draw, or position 5, where's there's an obvious way Black could blunder into a mate, I'm struggling to see a swindle in this position. If this game ended in a draw White must have blundered in a way that's not obvious from the starting position.

If it had been an online game, I could believe that White might think the move was a mouse slip and just take the rook. But in an OTB game with a 30 seconds a move increment ...?

Any chance names as well as places and dates could be given in OTB games.

I run a 'Always Pause Before Promoting' section and I like number four. 1...Rc8.

I have many examples where a player has automatically taken a Queen and stalemate.
This one also fits under the 'Game Over Blunder' highlighting when we are at the most vulnerable...
...playing the 'they must resign now move.'

It would quite funny (or tragic) if the player had spotted 2.bxc8=Q is a stalemate so took a Bishop instead.

Edit: I thought I read Position 4 was from the Bedford Open. If it was an online game there quite understandable.

Edit 2. Misread the I'f' it was an online game...good an OTB game.

I'll use the Bedford game v Brian. (I'll post a link when it's up)
Have a few online examples but often that is because the players promote to a Queen
without a choice because unknown to them that is their current default setting.
Red Hot Pawn had a, '...always promote to Queen setting' that caused some grumbling and mumbling, all good fun.

Sorry about the online not online confusion, my old eyes play up.
I have to + 130 the screen to see what is being said but back to 100% to see a diagram.
I missed the 'if' and read it as ;'It was an online game.
