POSTED on behalf of Tim Clare (details below) - please contact him if you can help

Dear Andrew
Regarding our telephone conversation this afternoon about finding a chess partner to rekindle my game. Over 30 years ago I sustained a spinal injury in a car accident which left me as a permanent wheelchair user (tetraplegic). At the moment I do not have any transport so I am limited to where I can play chess. My new mode of transport is currently waiting adaptations and will take at least nine months. I am looking for a chess partner to improve my game and keep my brain from stagnating. My level of chess has never been rated but I imagine I am of a low club standard. My contact details are as follows ---

Tim Clare
4 Cranbourne Avenue, Windsor, Berks SL4 4ER

Mobile number (07XXX) XXXXXX
Email [email protected]

Please do not hesitate to call if you need any more information. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Many regards, Tim

The 2018 ECF Yearbook had adddress details of most of the county and cluborganisers That is not in the 2019 YearBook, but I hope can be found on the ECF website.
I shll send the aquery to christine Coates who was the secretary in 2018.
Such players deserve our support.

I am not clear what Tim would find most helpful - I've emailed him, offering to play a couple of games by email with some friendly commentary - waiting to hear.
