Carlsen, Game Changer & AI - LRB article

Post by David Robertson » Fri May 31, 2019 6:21 pm

There's a long, thoughtful and nicely written piece in the current edition of the London Review of Books. It assesses two books - Game Changer, and a book I don't know on the last WC match.

Very well worth the read. LRB is paywalled, but this should be accessible in full to non-subscribers

I'm not sure it is, as I had to use my login to read beyond the first few paragraphs.

The other book is this one.
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

I didn't use my login initially; hence, discovered you get three 'free' articles/month. I assume this applies to non-regular users. Hope so

I couldn't agree this was General Chat and have requested a move to Book Reviews.

Edit: move completed, thanks. (I'm reviewing the two reviews.)
