Will these drop off into the ether somewhere or will they be there forever.
As far as I'm aware, once it's on, it's on.
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

Super-Duper-Doo. Thanks Justin,

That means, and I've no idea where I got this idea from, I can recycle some of my old stuff and sneak it into future columns.
(hide that link Justin and people with short memories will never notice.)

Due to the virus I have spent longer than normal on F.B. and have got back in contact with an
old work mate who was the lad who went to the charity shop to price the chess set.

Back on track and good see Chess Notes is continuing. I was pointed toward this post a wee while back.

"...but it's Winter's wit that keeps me coming back for more. Funniest writer on chess there is. (Geoff Chandler comes a close-ish second.)"

Always good to know I've cheered someone up but I do not think I'm even close, (perhaps tenthish) he [Edward Winter] has a
wonderful turn of phrase made all the more effective because he slips them in whilst doing a serious piece of research.

My stuff is marmite humour, if any research is needed then I give it a damn good guess.
