I'm also hopeful it will take place the Diary of events taking place in New Zealand next year is filling up nicely.
Hopefully if things are virtually back to normal later next year, I might see you all visit Poulton-le-Fylde Chess Club when you holiday in Blackpool.
One of our top board players, Barry Hymer, has just brought a book out with his friend GM Peter Wells titled "Chess Improvement ". I haven't got the book yet but I've heard a lot of good reports about it. I think it's available on Amazon already.

So Cornwall can have a little rule of 6 adult chess. Lol The chances of much of the country going into Tier 1 before the summer seems quite remote given that the vaccine roll out will likely be a longer process than some optimistic predictions suggest.

If you've protected the truly at risk groups very reliably - which these vaccines might be considered as doing once the full data is released and double checked - then the remaining infection risk isn't something to cheer about but also might not justify the strictest measures.

I think all the vaccines have non trivial question marks at this point - they weren't even testing the same thing etc. Good reasons approval normally takes so long! All good enough to eventually stamp on the ***** thing at least.
