I have just received my 20th entry so that's it, short of any layout tweaks. There are light and hopefully sensible measures:
* masks recommended but not mandatory when playing
* hand gel available
* no handshakes
* masks only mandatory when moving inside the building
* 3 to 4 distinct groups with each their own playing room (each room should have maximum 12 players)
* each bubble has its own waiting room(s) in between rounds with plenty of space
* open windows/doors
* socialising recommended to be done outside
* pairings available online and in the hall
So hopefully enough measures to please players on both side of the divide while keeping reasonably safe.

Well, I don't think it's sensible for wearing of masks not to be mandatory when playing. If an unmasked player is infectious then not only will the player's opponent be at risk but so will everyone else in the same playing area. This is because the virus is airborne and transmitted through aerosols. Even vaccinated people will be at risk although the risk is significantly reduced. Key paper published in the Lancet here. Well, of course, it would be difficult to wear a mask when downing a pint or eating. But in principle, yes. That said, I suspect that in general ventilation will be better in pubs and restaurants than in chess venues.
