You might be forgiven for assuming "MP" refers to Malcolm Pein. On this occasion it does not.

Having met him, I can confirm it is not the same person.

HE needs to know that OtB chess is banned and in schools - bubbles - and that the 650 million education catch up fund should be spent as directed. As an MP he will know the detail for his area.

Yes and the self employed chess Coaches that work in our Primary schools are without any payment since march I had 2 very small grants totalling around £800 in the last 6 months told I don't qualify for any other benefit we are not allowed back in schools as considered an outside club and they are operating in year bubbles and they think it could be like this until next september . so with hardly any income how can the chess coach survive . we are offering zoom lessons but out of around 100 pupils 12 to 15 have signed up . As when they come home from school they just want to relax or eat something or told to do homework . so cant be the same as an afterschool club and of course any lunchtime activity is not possible . I am also getting the message what they really want is to play OTB as much as we all do .

I imagine Sid wouldn't have been happy with that...

Lobby MP. Self employed Chess Coaches likely at the bottom of the second tsunami after grandparents taking on free childcare for no money.
