We had a thread on this subject. It was good. But not this one.

The numbers work for me. I think it's simply wrong to say that they only have any value for beginners. I would say that they are my fundamental starting point when assessing any position, and without them i would find it very difficult.

Although perhaps that's what's holding me back.
