Quiz question ambiguity?

Post by MJMcCready » Mon Jan 04, 2021 3:13 pm

In the clip below Stephen Fry asks how many knights can we place on the board which can't capture another, then draws attention to the knights being placed as being the same colour, noting that a knight can't capture another knight of the same colour. It's then claimed that we can place 32 knights on the board without any knight being able to capture another but if we adhere the the laws stated, that a piece cannot capture another of the same colour then shouldn't the answer be 64?
