Hello. I am running for the presidency of my province chess association. What can be done to improve chess here?

You should already have a good idea of that if about to run for that office.

Iran has recently produced some very high-class young players so must have been doing something right.
Here the emphasis has gone from quality to quantity and less high-class juniors have appeared recently.
However, due to a project called "Chess in Schools" more youngsters are playing chess here these days, or so it would seem.
There is now probably a new generation of UK online players who have hardly played a game over-the-board, but have played hundreds, or thousands, of games on the internet.
Has chess followed similar paths in Iran recently.
Your big idea will not be easy to come by and it would be best if it came from yourself rather than being borrowed.
If you have a big idea be careful who you reveal it to.
