Ian, the Institute has undergone a major refurbishment since (I think) you last played there.
So it has. It's 11 or 12 years since I last played there.
To be fair, it was far from the worst venue I ever played at - just rather cramped playing conditions most of the time.

The venue has substantially improved in the last few years following major refurbishment.

We have a full house tomorrow. Every seat in each of the nine simuls is taken in each of the three sittings. We have a waiting list of 50 others who we will fit in as games finish. There has been a great response.
Please do come along and spectate and if you want a game, I’m sure we can help.
